Description: Antique American Eagle Sugar This fine pearlware sugar was made for the American Market. Beautiful definition and detail. Decorated in relief on one side with the American eagle with shield, stars and ribbon impressed "E Pluribus Unum". On the other side is the head of Liberty in a Phrygian cap. c. 1800. Approx. 6"H X 6"W. Documentation: Lewis Prattware-1780-1840, p. 60 Condition: Large chip to rim and finial, chipping to base, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected with age.
