Description: I’m selling my pride and joy Sons of Horus army as sadly life has got in the way of using them as much as I’d like. This is a huge army, built to use the Orbital Assault rite of war, but is plenty big enough to be used in other types of games without the drop pods. I themed the models around a fairly early war image, mostly in MK4 armour but with a sprinkle of MK5 representing the 16th legion’s ad hoc nature and the first effects of the galactic conflict on resources. Almost every model has some small level of conversion, with top knots, trophy skulls, wicked blades or lodge coins throughout the army, even on the troops. There are no transfers in the army and every shoulder pad with insignia is either a 3D print or lovingly hand painted! There are several magnetised parts in the army, all of the vexilla’s are on magnetised arms and I have spare open hands for most. The leviathan has 4 magnetised arms. One of the 10 man support squads has magnetised volute calivers or flamers, some tartaros terminators have magnetised arms and the deathstorm drop pods is even magnetised to be used as a normal drop pod. The bad: There are definitely a few top knows missing and a few accessories knocked off but not a great deal. I’ve looked over for chips or scratches and the army appears free of any such damage; they have been satin varnished. There are some alternate arms for magnetised joints missing, for the most part the models have one option to fit there and are complete. However one tartaros sergeant is missing an arm as is one contemptor dreadnought. The leviathan is also currently missing his nipple weapons. If any of these parts are found I’ll update this listing. The destroyer who appears to be missing his jump pack in the photos has a magnetised jump pack which is on an apothecary in the photos. The apothecary has his own magnetised jump pack. To buy and field the same models basic models without even considering bits for conversions and personalisation ect would cost over £1400.
