The game's graphics are absolutely gorgeous. The planes are modeled with great detail right down to the paint chips and bullet holes. When your plane gets shot up, the damage models are excellent. Depending on the extent of the damage, you may loose a chunk of wing, or your plane may be ripped right down to it's fusalage. Amazing. The sound effects are very top-notch and fit in perfectly. The gameplay is easys enough to satisfy the beginning flight sim fans like me, and looks scalable enough to appeal to the hardcore enthusiasts. You'll be looping around those evil Nazi's shooting down their planes in no time. This game has fabulous replay value. I keep going back to it time after time and it never ever gets old. I can make up my own missions time after time, or just fly around and blow stuff up and it never becomes boring. With multiplayer capabilities over LAN and Internet, I'm sure blowing your buddies out of the sky is a blast. Overall I highly recommend WWII Fighters to not just flight sim enthusiasts, but lovers of great computer games. WWII Fighters is a top notch piece of programming and it shows.
