Description: Nippon Columbia 10-inch 78 RPM record # A-2095 has all the titles and credits in Japanese, but my Japanese isn't as good as it used to be, so I won't bore you with my attempts to translate any of it. All I can say, in fact, is that both sides contain duets of male and female voices. Artists and titles unknown. The first side of the record (in the order shown in the pictures) looks to be in about VG+ or better condition, still beautifully shiny, and very little visible surface wear. It plays through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, and with just typical light background noise. There is, however, a tiny hairline crack at the edge, which is barely visible or audible on the first side. On the other side, however, two hairline cracks are visible, one of which is also audible as a light ticking, and the ticking continues beyond the crack due to an annoying little needle scratch. So only the second half of that side plays as well as the first. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. It comes with the (American) Columbia Records sleeve shown in the pictures, but it is torn and chipped and creased and doesn't add anything to the value.
