This traditional ALDER woodbody this is a highly resonant woods This listing is for a light aged patina RELIC finish similar to ( CLOSET CLASSIC ) no heavy wear pics seen in orange example but YOUR will be purple pearl metalic coat in a deep nitro patina relic finish. Finish checking is hard to show in pictures it is there front and back with aged patina throughout. This will make a killer JAZZ Bass. This is built to std blueprint of the original parts can vary in size by a few MM between the body and fitting a neck often it is required of the guitar builder to “fit” the neck to a body and that is done by the assembler at time of building this is nothing new this is why Fender would sand neck or pocket use shims and so on to fine tune adjust and or fit , this prep work is to be expected and should your neck or body require you the builder to make the final fit this is ordinary and not a defect and is not returnable for such reasons.
