Description: 20.66 acre lode mine for RENT near the town of Julian, California. This not a sale of the mine. This was one of the richest mines in the Julian gold mining district. There are historic articles about the amount of gold that was taken out of this mine. The miners took out the richest quartz veins with gold and left the rest. It's ready to be mined again. There are tons of loose gold bearing schist ore with micro gold waiting to be removed from the mine and processed. This ore samples at around 4-10 grams per ton. We have also found medium to high grade quartz veins inside and outside the mine sampling from 10-50 grams per ton. The ore can be crushed and washed over a sluice or gold cube. Once the mine is cleared out you can start digging downward to follow the quartz veins. This is a golden opportunity to dig deeper where the gold usually gets richer. There could be amazingly rich veins at deeper depths. There are 2 adits in this mine. One is open in the picture and another is closed off and contains ground water. We use this water to wash the loose and crushed ore. There is a nice area in shade to set up a processing sluice or gold cube. Lots of room for parking and equipment. This is a monthly rental for $5k. Monthly rental will need to be paid on the 1st day of each month going forward. I make no guarantees about the amount of gold you may or will find.
