Description: K40 or compatible laser engraver timing belt (X axis) hard to find required length is about 920mm this loop is about 1 metre so there is plenty to spare, and an offcut to practice making holes in before trying the real thing. Width is 5mm the correct width (6mm ones don't fit or you need to cut them down) it is also the correct pitch and the correct shape to engage the drive sprocket (half hex). It took me days to track these down from the Taiwan makers. Buy here and save the trouble and misleading information. If you need help you can always email me on how to do it. Over time these can snap or stretch and adjusting the tension sprocket will not help. Unexplained jams, irregular engraving and a whole host of other issues may be resolved by changing the timing belt. The process takes about an hour to complete.
