The handle is made out of stained curly birch with a brass bolster and fiber spacer. The brown leather sheath comes with a dangler style belt loop that would fit up to a 2" belt. It makes for a great lightweight tool carried on your belt or tossed in the pack. As its name suggests, thanks to the length and model of the blade, this knife is suitable as a woodcarving knife, and as a knife for handling small game or fish. The hand molded handle fits especially well in a bigger hand. The handle is treated with linseed oil, and it does not slip in the hand.
