If you need a flat-style plate for your older Kirkey or other seat, please see our other items!*** This is a seat brace for attaching the driver's seat to the harness bar of a roll bar or cage, such as mandated by the NHRA for drag racing. Ours is easily adjustable if you need to move the seat to multiple positions for different drivers. It is not required to remove this brace from the car to adjust the length. We see a lot of cars that do not have these. Technically that's a violation of the rules, but also a bad idea. In a crash, keeping your seat in place can prevent your head from hitting the roll bar! Additionally, it will improve ergonomics in your car, as the seat will no longer flex backward on launch, moving the driver backward.
