Are used to have the IK*A Alex and Mickey table set but it was way too big for my room so when I started looking for a desk, I was looking for something that will fit in the corner of my room because my room is small, the measurements were accurate for this desk. I did not wait for my dad to come home. I, (female) did assemble it myself. it did take a little longer than expected. However, I did take breaks and it’s my first “building” experience, overall the manual was very easy to read. It was very easy to assemble. I would highly suggest this desk for anybody who has a small room and doesn’t want an oversize table or doesn’t what to give their child a very big table. Also, just a throw in there, the table is a little bit on the thinner side but however, it is pretty sturdy and feels like the exact same material as some of the IK*A tables that they have. It gives her room an attractive, stylish, look. Very sturdy and practical. No drawers, so we just slid a basket into the cubby. One problem was one of the screw holes did not line up during assembly. We just drilled a hole in the correct location with our electric drill. Took an extra 10 minutes. Warm Tips: 1. Determine how you want to install type before installing, then find it in the manual. Following the instruction manual step by step can help you install quickly and correctly. 2. Put the screws in loosely until all pieces are together and then tighten them all. It will save you time if you make a mistake when installing. 3. We suggest it is faster and easier to install with an electric drill.
