The Poster promoted and commemorated the Olympic ski events that held in Lake Placid in 1980. These were the same Olympics where the underdog USA Hockey Team won the Olympic Gold Medal in the famed "Miracle on Ice" game! This Poster was formerly owned by a famed sports agent who was close to the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team. Measures approx. 40" by 28" overall and is #74 of 1000 in its limited edition. Poster's lower border features the Lake Placid Games emblem and the Olympic Rings and reads: "Lake Placid 1980".A recognized watercolorist and a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society 1953, Gallucci was an educator in the Lake Placid area for most of his career and was chosen to represent his home with a group of 1980 Winter Olympic Posters.Professionally framed.
