For sale is a large one pound hank of undyed wool yarn.PLEASE NOTE: We have 8 of these available for sale and the price you see, including shipping, is for one hank of undyed wool yarn. If you need more than one, we are happy to provide combined shipping and only charge whatever the quoted shipping rate is based on total weight and box size.These hanks of yarn were stored in large plastic bags inside of a two plastic storage containers. There was a note inside each bag that both read "wool DK weight 1 LB = 1,200 yards".We don't know what kind of wool yarn this is or who made it, but given the high quality yarn we got in this large collection, most of which already sold, we trust it is a similar quality.Each hank weighs right at one pound and would be approximately 1,200 yards.We got these hanks with 8 identical hanks, but we listed those separately. We listed these hanks for less since they all have a light stain/spot or two on each hank. We don't know if the spots are from when it was made or got on the yarn later. We included the largest spots in the pictures above. We know yarn can be washed and dried before dying it or using it, so we'd imagine the spots can be washed out, but they probably won't even matter once the yarn is died. we just wanted to make sure you were aware of one or two of them being on each hank. We will sell the hanks with the fewest and lightest stains first and those with the most or largest last.PLEASE NOTE: We got these from an estate sale awhile back in a really old house. They were all stored in garbage bags inside of a plastic container. We don't think this yarn has picked up any musty odor from the old house and it doesn't have a smell to us. However, after going to dozens of estate sales every weekend for years now, we never notice musty odors. We know that yarn can be washed and if there is any odor, it can be removed with a proper washing. Please keep that in mind if you decide to make a purchase.
