See Pg 6 of the R3 manual for an explanation of their use. Many R3 owners have replaced these with more durable circular or other single-piece lug rings. These would be for a buyer looking to keep an R3 with original equipment. Buyers should be familiar with the Leica R3. The sale includes the 4 pieces shown in the pics. No camera included.
