Description: Leo Meiersdorff "Hot Licks" Hand Colored Serigraph. I have looked at quite a few of these pictures. The variations in colors, shading and irregularities of color to the black lines and some different colors and shading on this picture compared to what other pictures have, convinces me that the colors are hand applied. My research findings lead me to believe that this water color was reproduced in New York back in the 60's and not by Leo Meiersdorff. But is of high quality by another artist and a watercolor. Measure 17-1/2 X 14 This was matted at one time by the fade mark around the edge at 16" X 13" This should lay down flat when installed on a piece of acid free foam-core. Has some bug surface damage on the left edge and bottom, but a mat board should cover this. Ask any questions you may have before bidding.
