The inside corner roller version (#4-006) is specially designed to streamline the application of compound to internal corners before drywall tape is applied. The 2-inch wide corner roller cover incorporates a nap-free center, which reduces the risk of excess buildup at the center point of the corner during application. PRO TIP: Before using your new drywall compound roller for the first time, “prime” the roller cover by wrapping painter’s tape around its entire surface and then peeling it off. This will remove any loose fibers or bits of roller nap that may not have been securely attached during manufacturing.
