Description: These are separate sheets from the classic of ethno-choreography and ethno-musicology publilshed iniitially by the Evans sisters: May Evans, reporter-educator-E A Poe scholar, and her sister, Bessie Evans, both of the Peabody Conservatory. They had visited New Mexico in 1928 to study Navajo culture. The result was a book of which these are the illustrative prints by "Poyege" from San Ildefonso. Not in perfect condition but colors remain bright. The size of the prints is 9 x 11 inches. There are two pages of captions (which I have not scanned). This is not a rare publication but it is unusual to have single prints in good condition. They could be framed or re-used in another art work. WIll be sent via USPS Media Mail. No reserve. Thank you for looking. North American addresses only at this time.
