I’ve had this spinel in my gemstone collection for years and I have decided to reduce my collection because of my age. The spinel measures 6.5 x 7.0 x 5.3mm’s deep. The color is very unique and so after comparing it with other spinels like it I would say it’s a grayish purple. In the sun I see some lavender flashes in it. The pictures make it look darker than what it really is but remember all computer screens are different. I’m not a professional and all opinions, weights and measurements are approximate.
