You can also use it to deepen the chocolate flavor in your cakes and icings! No matter how you choose to use it, this emulsion is sure to become an essential ingredient in your kitchen. This emulsion is formulated to be the same strength as a traditional alcohol-based extract, allowing you to substitute 1:1 with an extract in any recipe. To use, simply substitute 1 tsp. of emulsion for 1 tsp. of extract when baking, using a slightly less amount for no-bake items such as frosting or whipped cream. If substituting for brewed coffee in a recipe, add 1 tsp. for every 1/2 cup of brewed coffee and increase other liquid by 1/2 cup.
