Description: Offering a lot of (6) authentic French cabinet hardware latches and slide latches. From top to bottom, they are:* 20" with rusty patina*13-1/4"*13" with rusty patina.*12-1/2"*12-1/2 slide latch*7" slide latch with green paint remnants. These are typical of hardware found on French country antiques, and while I don't know the exact date of these, they look to be from the 19th century. These are in working condition, but being sold in as-found condition with the rusty antique patina, though that could easily be removed with a little elbow grease if that is your preference. These are authentic antique French latches that were purchased at the famed L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue antique market in Provence, and one of the 13" latches has it's original 28 Euro price tag, which at the time was the equivalent of around $40. The top 4 are latches that were meant to drop into a keeper to hold the door in place, while the bottom two are slide latches, that would also slide into a keeper.
