Description: For sale is a julep cup by Louisville Stoneware created to commemorate the first Centennial of the Kentucky Derby. This julep has a sandy gray base with blue artwork and pale blue trim at rim and foot. The pottery issued a set of six cups, each with an illustration and line of text from Stephen Foster's classic "My Old Kentucky Home." This cup has the line "We will sing one song" over an illustration featuring a group of men and women with a piano and guitar (marked V3 on bottom). This piece is in very good condition with no damage or wear; it appears unused. The cup has a 1975 copyright for Kind Trees. It is stamped in blue for Louisville Stoneware. Made in Kentucky, USA.
