It’s possible to find the 12” but fairly rare to find this 15” X-Large size. Made of heavy-duty hand-cast magnesium-aluminum alloy for a lovely even roast. Some areas of light wear/use but overall in great shape. Sits flat and has great shine. This 13 qt version is almost the same size as the Sidney Wagner Ware 4267 and is made in the USA by GHC with approximate date of late mid century. Original roasting rack not included. Holds 15 lb fowl. A perfect choice for your next family feast or holiday meal. ABOUT MAGNALITE: Originally developed in 1934, Magnalite Classic Cookware is best known for it’s distinctive Cast Aluminum material, timeless design and commercial durability. The casting process enables Magnalite cookware to have varied thickness throughout the pans, maximizing heat conductivity. The pans boast extra thick bases, which allow heat to travel quickly and evenly up the pan sidewalls. To prevent warping, let cookware cool before coming into contact with water. To remove burned on food, soak before cleaning and scrub with a plastic scouring pad. DO NOT use abrasive scouring powders, pads or steel wool. Thoroughly wash pan after each use. Avoid long-term storage with foods. Some foods and salt can “pit” the surfaces and make it difficult to clean. Add salt to liquid only after it reaches the boiling points, and stir to dissolve completely. Use of high heat may cause foods to stick.
