Description: This is Marvel's "Masters of Terror," Issue #2, published in 1975. I understand that this was the final issue in the series. In the editorial on page 4, Tony Isabella writes that the series "is a two-shot try-out magazine. If enough copies of these two issues are sold, then the magazine will resume publication. If not, Masters of Terror - unfortunately - goes the way of all things." Apparently there were not enough issues sold, and "Masters of Terror" ended with this issue. The issue is magazine-sized (11 x 8 inches), printed in black-and-white, 74-pages in length, and comes with a cover price of $1.00 - all of which indicates that it was intended for a more mature audience. There are 6 adaptations: (i) "The Invisible Man," based upon the H.G. Wells novel; (ii) "The Man Who Cried Werewolf," based upon a story by Robert Bloch (author of "Psycho"); (iii) "Dig Me No Grave," based upon the story by Robert Howard (author of "Conan the Barbarian"); (iv) "The Music of Eric Zann," based upon the story by H.P. Lovecraft (author of "The Call of Cthulhu"); (v) "Pickman's Model," based upon the story by H.P. Lovecraft; and (vi) "The Roaches," based upon the story by Thomas Disch (author of "The Genocides").
