Description: Up for sale is a copy of "MAYA LIN - SYSTEMATIC LANDSCAPES". Published in conjunction with the exhibition Maya Lin: Systematic Landscapes, presented at the Henry Art Gallery, University of Washington, Seattle, from April 22 to September 3, 2006. Essays by Richard Andrews and John Beardsley. Foreward by Lawrence Weschler. Maya Lin (born 1959) came to prominence in 1981 with her design for the Vietnam Vererans Memorial. This book traces her continued fascination with geologic phenomena and topography, integrating natural contours and materials into evocative environmental artworks. Overall the book is in Very Good Condition. The jacket has some wear - there are a few nicks/chips around the edges, and some scratches and discoloration on the front and rear, as well - particuarly visible in the black portion. It is not price clipped. The white boards have very little wear. Internally, it is firmly bound and there is very little wear to the pages. There is an inscription and signature of a previous owner on the front end page. International customers, please note shipping charges. Other small dings here and there. Not perfect, but generally a very nice copy! Please email with questions and see my store for other great items. Inventory R-Box 45
