Description: Vintage Mexican Michoacan Purepecha Ceremonial Ethnographic Folk Art finely hand carved Ermitano, Hermitano, Hermit, Old Man Dance Mask. Possibly from the town of Cheran. Appears to be oil based painted surface. Two slit eye holes above painted eyes. Two holes drilled at each side. Monofilament for wall hanging. Unmarked, unsigned, no labels or tags. Uncertain of artisan, exact age, provenance. In VG+ vintage condition with only very minor signs of age and wear. Measures approximately 8.50 inches tall, 5.50 wide, and 3.50 inches deep.
