Description: This is a slightly used older RS40-D1 that has plastic slides. It was run at the drag strip only on a GS1100. It is very good condition (please look closely at the pictures). It is currently setup with a 150 main jet, 9CHY03 needle on the third clip, needle jet 568 Y8 (one step bigger than the Y-6 that comes in them from Mikuni), pilot fuel is a 20 and float height is 17mm. These can be changed into the D12 version (FJ1100 -1200 1984-1992) very easily without any additional parts. Please let me know if you need that done and I can set them up for you prior to shipping. You will need to sync them again if they are changed to the D12. They have been cleaned and filled with fuel to insure they will not leak. This 40 is a rare find. Typically they are beaten from frequent removal and tuning. I think I was the first one to remove the jet needles.
