Description: This is a beautifully hand carved miniature black obsidian (?) mouse. It weighs 1.6 oz.It is precise in detail from the eyes and ears to the paws and mouth. I speculate it is obsidian because of the color and the weight. I am probably wrong but that doesn't take away from the artistry of this small animal sculpture.It has spent it's life perched on the kitchen sill, looking at the morning sun.
