But I haven’t seen them in decades so I was really shocked when I came across this copy of Planetoid. I’ve held on to it for a few years and now I’m passing it along so someone else who loved it back in the day can treasure it for a while. Even though it’s an old library book with the card pocket and stamps, it has a bookstore binding rather than the library binding. And the dust jacket is in amazing shape. It used to be in a very worn out plastic library sleeve which I’ve replaced with an archival sleeve. This book is in VG condition. Hinges and spine are firm and tight but, due to decades of (not mine) bad storage, the book is canted so that part of the page block extends out past the boards. Library ink stamp on the title page and on the edge of the page block. Card pocket on the back endpaper. And a more modern bar code sticker above the card pocket. Other than that, no writing, stickers, stamps, rips, tears, dogears, odors, mold, mildew, or water stains. A well loved children’s classic. Smoke free home. Everything will be mailed using re-used boxes. No handling charge. Buyer pays actual shipping costs in the continental US. But the post office won’t let this go media rate. sigh. I have a full time job and, at most, I only get to the post office once a week. So other sellers will probably be faster shippers than me. But your package will be very well packed and will arrive undamaged (unless the post office releases the gorilla on it). International bidders will pay actual shipping costs which are shockingly, staggeringly, prohibitively expensive.
