The large decoy is by famed carver Lewis Shelton of White Stone, Va, and in the past associated with the Decoy capitol in Havre de Grace, Md., and maybe elsewhere. Intricately hand crafted down to the details and directions of the individual feather barbs. Lots of time consuming effort. Solid chunk wood (not a head attached to a body like most). No damage and no restorations. She's about 9.5" tail to breast, 4" wide and 4" tall (Maxed out my photo allotment for listing, but I can send you other pics). This one is the bulk of my desired valuation! I tend to not do Auctions or Offers to keep my life simple. If my valuation is lite, then your gain. And vis versa. Accounts for about $800 of my number. Here's a link to Shelton. The vintage Ugly duck is more crudely hand carved from a solid block, but still really cool. No maker markings. 6.5" beak to tail, 3" tall and 3" wide. Maybe a private hand whittling project from some bored hunter back in the day. Nice job either way. Accounts for about $75 of my number. The Twins are from a series; The Boyd's Collection Masters Series. Signed. Accounts for about $50 of my number. The remaining two are a cool quality hand woven basket and a silly little pencil sharpener. This rounds out my duck offering. Just collecting dust in my little office space at home.
