Description: Nelson RSV Revised Standard Version Bible New Testament NT Leather 990x This is a beautiful RSV only in the New Testament in excellent condition! It uses a beautiful single column format with a classic black letter text. I noticed very mild soiling on the publisher page (no idea how). No abrasions to the binding. The leather is flexible, but a bit stiff. I assume it is imitation leather, but could be genuine based on its age of around 70-80 years as it’s a first edition RSV. It’s also a 990x, whereas the 890x was imitation. Higher number usually meant superior binding. Definitely the thinnest RSV I’ve ever handled out of hundreds. It is in such superb condition in part because it was either not read or read very little. I found one slightly exposed signature at the back. Writing on a blank intro page. The gilded page edge are in practically perfect condition. These are a treasure to find in this condition, especially with its original box. I almost kept it in my personal collection, but I have enough of these beautiful NTS. 6.5 x 4.25 x .5 inches Dime used for comparison Note: I do not accept returns unless the item was not as I described because of a mistake I made.
