Printed by the American Bank Note Company of New York, on relatively heavy weight, white wove paper with horizontal mesh, white (almost colorless) gum. This very popular issue includes some of the finest engraved stamps ever produced, anywhere. Very good color and crisp appearance. Mint, never-hinged original gum. Excellent fault-free example of this iconic Newfoundland stamp.
