Description: An issue of THE NEWFIE NEWSLETTER OF THE NEWFOUNDLAND STUDY GROUP OF BNAPS, Oct-Dec 2016, page 10 has a very interesting discussion of the surcharged issue of the 1943 Memorial University postage stamp. The stamp has a variey catalogued with as 268i "spacing variety" by Unitrade, but the article points out that there is a " broken T" in "TWO" flaw in the 1st plating, postion 26, left pane. The article also discusses a now known double overprint variety and suggests that this particular postage stamps might be worthy of further study, one having sold at auction in a multiple for $795. I have identified similar "Broken T" flaws in this multiple at positions 41 and 71. By collaboration on an on-line site, I have been able to establish that these are uncatalogued constant plate flaws. It's doubling satisfying to establish the 2 flaws on the same multiple. I will ship worldwide for a flat $2 rate. If your invoice doesn't reflect that price, I will adjust or refund as necessary
