Description: Vintage 1983 SR Semi Pro Infinity Champion #2 Lugged Steel 61cm Road Bike Shimano 600 Arabesque SR Semi-Pro Vintage Road Bike, in a rare XL 61cm frame size! This I believe was, SR's 2nd from the top of the line road bike. It's built with Champion #2 double butted chromoly tubing, equipped with mostly Shimano 600. Frame is 24". or 61CM.These premium Japanese built bikes were very well made, along the same lines as the Nishiki, Azuki, and Centurion premium road bikes of the classic late 70's to early 80's era.A great bike for the taller rider, looking for something that works well, and moreover, fits properly. Most likely that person would be a more seasoned rider, looking for something quite a bit more refined, and substantially lighter, and more responsive than the mass produced of Schwinn's of this ERA. The Scuffed Ultra-Soft saddle is fully useable, and in some cases, perhaps too comfortable... Saddles being highly subjective, many riders may prefer something firmer. I always recommend good riding shorts, and try few different saddles to get it right. Fore, aft, and tilt are important, along with optimum saddle height.New replacement long cage derailleur on rear, and installed as shown... Allows for wider range rear freewheel cluster to be easily installed along with a longer chain. All other original Shimano driveline components as shown.Arrays rims and sunshine hubs are original to this bike.Just a note, as you can see in the photos, the bike has very little paint loss. I would put in for some very inexpensive new brake, pads to improve the braking performance, as these appear to be the originals.Included in the purchase price, is a bottle cage, and a very nice Zefal frame pump. The Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset is in very good shpae as well, with the exception of the rear derailleur which had mechanical defects and was replaced with a SUNRUN, branded as a SAIGUAN (This is very good replacement derailleur and will allow for much wider range freewheel, if desired. There are a few scratches and scuffs in the paint. The cable Housing has a few small cracks in it. Bike is clean and in decent riding condition. I sell bikes of this age in AS IS condition w/o our typical 60 day mechanical warranty. SIZING: Based on traditional sizing, it could generally fit someone 6 '2" to 6"5".
