Description: For sale in NICE CONDITION Cold War era Radiological Survey Meter Dosimeter Victoreen Model 6B was made in 1962 and one of the last models and the best model of all CD-700sIt was made by Victoreen Instrument Co in Cleveland Ohio This set was retrofit in 1990 which includes new probe, new battery compartment. It has some paint touch ups in a few places. Also, meter may have very minor chips/scuffs from being moved on a shelf (for over 60 years). THE MEETER IS TESTED and IS WORKING! The picture #2 shows at x1The picture #3 shows at x10 = 0.2 mr/hr (which is correct measurement for the source) WE DO TEST EVERY METER BEFORE WE SHIP! You will receive a complete NICE set that includes: - CDV-700 Model 6B Radiological Survey Meter- Earphones (matches the model)- Shoulder Strap- Manual- original from 1962 moisture absorbing packet :) most likely is not good anymore. It takes 4 regular D batteries. (batteries NOT included) Please NOTE: Since the meter was RETROFIT with the new battery compartment the Operational Check Source was never attached to the meter.
