Description: These old-school U.S.-made ultralight wheels are extremely rare and in great condition! Wheels weigh in at 690 grams front, 900 grams rear with skewers!! Hubs appear to be Nukeproof Tech Titanium hubs based on my online research, see photo from catalog. Front is 100mm 28-hole, rear 135mm 28-hole hi/lo flange with 5mm hex screw-in skewers in faded anodized purple! Hub shell is funky tie-dye (ti-dye?) patina with vintage Nukeproof logo! 7-sp cassette freehub body. A little bit of drag in freehub body, a little grit feel in rear bearings, front smooth as butter. Some corrosion on spoke nipples but DT spokes are in good condition and Mt Aero ATB rims by Matrix (Trek) look fabulous with only one minor scuff, see photo. Spin true. Inner rim width measures 13mm between hooks. Vintage 90s MTB is my favorite and I have never come across wheels like these!
