Educated at the technical school of arts and at private art schools. He has traveled and painted all around Scandinavia but worked mostly in Denmark. Wentzel was primarily a landscape painter and known for his landscapes with marsh, autumn and winter scenes. Wentzel has been exhibited at The free art museum and at other European exhibitions. Ref.
