Description: This offering is for an antique daguerreotype photograph of a young man or older boy. The image features the lad in a seated view, arms in his lap. He is contained in his original half case, the mat and wrap are also in place. The image is a ninth plate in size measuring app. 2" by 2.5" The image has both a very nice focus and contrast. The seals are missing and there is some tarnish visible at the edges of mat opening. When held to the light and angled there are a couple of wipes that fall under the mat when it's cased but show up when uncased. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 9.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
