Description: One - Marked L.M. Ericsson Capacitor - Stamped into the metal: 2MF Type RI.551 Telefon A.B.L. L.M. Ericsson Stockholm” with a 12-point star and 1892 Eiffel Tower Phone. Will make a neat display item, especially if you have a Swedish or Ericsson telephone. L.M. Ericsson begin with telephony right around the assigned invention (1876). They established a factory in Buffalo in around 1918 which soon became the “Federal Telephone Mfg Co”. These often had cloth wrapped wires coming out of the top. The symbol showing an Eiffel Tower phone (made from 1892 – 1932) also verifies an older era. It is about 4 3/8” tall, 1 3/4” wide 1” deep. The one offered here has white print in a few places. I don't know why. Used - Untested. Please be sure to read the description Sold As IS; and if you have any questions please call us at Phonecoinc. No returns.
