Description: Rare One-of-a-Kind Working Photo Archive (1962-63) 24 original and vintage working glossy photos and 2 copy negatives of Aviation Week magazine (now Aviation Week & Space Technology) founded in 1961 and is now in print and online as one of the world's flagship magazines of weekly aviation and space news. The early photos are from 1962-63 when NASA's new Apollo lunar program was first initiated. This is a rare collection of actual "working" photos, negatives, cut-out and paste-up boards, tapped-on instructions and dimensions in which many, if not all, have been used for magazine publication during those first planning and development years of the Apollo program. Many of the photos included in this assortment are not that common and rarely seen today. On the back of all the photos included are rubber stamps by AW filled-in with hand-written annotations in pencil and marker pens. There is even a "RED CASE" rubber stamp impression applied to some of the photo back surfaces. Most of the photo topics are some of the very first images that came out by NASA and prime Apollo aerospace contractor companies, such as the planning stages of the Apollo CSM spacecrafts with hardware prototypes, early cockpit controls and instrumentation layouts, spacecraft configurations, charts, cut-a-way views, and more!If you have questions, please ask before buying.
