Description: Original vintage 1942 movie poster insert (14”x36”) “All Through the Night”, a crime, comedy and Nazi spy thriller starring Humphrey Bogart and Conrad Veidt plus featuring many of the Warner Bro’s company of character actors (including Peter Lorre, Jackie Gleason, Phil Silvers and William Demarest) is in very fine to near mint condition. The poster was paper-backed and has minor signs of touch ups to fold lines as well as very minor wear. The vividly designed poster featuring an iconic image of a younger Humphrey Bogart is in absolutely frame-ready condition. The hit film directed by Vincent Sherman has earned its spot in the annals of film history.. Bogart only received the lead actor role after George Raft turned it down. Interestingly enough, this was the third classic movie that Bogart starred in after Raft turned down after “Maltese Falcon” and “High Sierra”. As a result of these films and others, Bogart is considered the greatest male star of classic American cinema.
