Description: Another requested PCB, these are custom printed circuit boards designed to work with the crossover of the Virage DIY speaker design by Paul Carmody. Take the guesswork out of crossover assembly, these boards make the process quick, easy and straightforward. The crossover board measure 6.85" x 5" and feature large solder pads and copper traces for great electrical connectivity. Includes: 2x Crossover PCB for the Virage DIY speaker design. 6x Terminal blocks which accept up to 12 gauge wire. 8x Snap in PCB standoffs. 8x Mounting screws (screw finish may vary). Requires: Crossover components for the Virage speaker design. I designed this PCB to accept a larger range of component physical sizes then normal so you have greater choice in the selection of components. C1 - 5.6uF Polypropylene Film C3 - 8.2uF Polypropylene Film L1 - 0.35mH - 18-20 AWG Air Core (Should fit most up to ~1.7" diameter) L2 - 2.0mH - 14-18 AWG Air Core (Should fit most up to ~3" diameter) L3 - 0.30mH - 14-18 AWG Air Core (Should fit most up to ~2" diameter) R1 - 8 Ohm - 10w wirewound sandcast/ceramic resistor or similar size R2 - 6 Ohm - 10w wirewound sandcast/ceramic resistor or similar size Assembly: Glue components to the correct positions on the board (hot melt glue works great). Secure inductors with non metallic cable ties. Solder components leads to the pads on the bottom of the board. Attach wires from input and drivers and mount crossover board.
