This heavyweight crash is slightly thicker and higher pitched than the standard 900 series crash and resonates with long sustain after a silvery full-bodied crash with outstanding punch. It also has a seriously cutting bell that is clear and concise. The 17" size is a wonderful compromise if you can't decide on a 16 or an 18.
