Description: FZ-10 3DO Unencrypted console + 3 controllers **NTSC-J console with bios switch** Includes system, power cord, and 3 controllers. The controllers are tested and working, one has more wear and a softer dpad than the other two. The system is in good condition with average scuffing from use and a little dust in the hard to reach spots. The expansion port cover has one broken clip. It has a switch on the back that changes how it boots between two different ROM chips. One encrypted, one unencrypted. We tested it with multiple US region games and they played normally in both switch positions. We don't know anything else about the switch and what it actually changes. It may have been a development console, tester system, or something else. I have only seen one similar system but the internal mod was a little different. The switch is slightly loose and rotates some, so sometimes up is down and down is up, but it does switch back and forth appropriately. The boot screen shows which bios is loading. This is how we received it and we have made no alterations since the wires inside look delicate. This is the extent of our use and knowledge. It has been in our collection for over a decade and we have finally decided to let it go to another collector who will appreciate it's uniqueness.
