Description: Vintage Parker “51” fountain pen. Squeeze filler. Minimal surface marks. No dents visible. Gray jewel in cap. Friction cap. In fact, the only negative I see is the scratchy writing feel. I have included photos of nib. Possibly the point could be filed smooth. I am not a pen restore expert so I don’t know if that’s possible. I did find some vintage replacement nibs on Ebay. I do know that the nib cover section is held on with shellac and would require a hair dryer and a gripper cloth to loosen up. There are some useful videos on the Internet to see how. I am taking this one negative into my setting of an asking price.And including free domestic shipping.
