Description: This photo print is a restored version of the original vintage version. I restored this as a way of preserving the memory and history it captures, telling a story that might otherwise be forgotten. I'm attempting to bring out the beauty and detail of this image allowing it to be appreciated in it's full glory once again. This print is full bleed, there is no white border around the image. Please look at the uploaded picture in this listing. The image you see is very close to the aspect ratio of the final printed version you will receive. I've also noticed that eBay compresses the images I upload, so the image you see in this listing is not as sharp as the final printed image you will receive. The print is in mint condition and I will be sure to ship it securely so it remains in mint condition. If it's not good enough for my own collection, I wouldn't send it to you for yours. Please Note Regarding Color Accuracy: I strive to present my photo prints with the utmost accuracy and care. However, please be aware that due to variations in individual monitor settings and the inherent differences in how colors are displayed on screens, the colors in the final print you receive may slightly differ from what you see on your screen. I ensure the highest quality in print reproduction, but the final product may exhibit subtle variations in color and tone compared to the digital display. The subject of this print is:Pier Angeli Pier Angeli was an Italian actress who gained international fame in the 1950s and 1960s. Born Anna Maria Pierangeli on June 19, 1932, in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, she began her career in Italian cinema before making her mark in Hollywood. Angeli's breakthrough role came with the 1951 film "Tomorrow Is Too Late," which earned her critical acclaim and the Silver Ribbon award for Best Actress in Italy. Her performance caught the attention of MGM, and she signed a contract with the studio, moving to Hollywood. In Hollywood, she starred in several notable films, including "The Light Touch" (1951), "The Flame and the Flesh" (1954), and "Somebody Up There Likes Me" (1956), in which she starred opposite Paul Newman. Angeli's delicate beauty and acting talent made her a popular actress of her time. Despite her professional success, Angeli's personal life was often turbulent. She had a highly publicized romance with actor James Dean, which ended reportedly due to pressure from her family and the studio. She later married singer and actor Vic Damone in 1954, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1958. Angeli married composer Armando Trovajoli in 1962, with whom she had a son, but this marriage also ended in divorce. Pier Angeli's career began to decline in the 1960s, and she struggled with personal issues. Tragically, she died of a barbiturate overdose on September 10, 1971, at the age of 39. Despite her early death, Angeli is remembered for her significant contributions to film and her enduring legacy as one of the era's most beautiful and talented actresses.
