Sexy.This Poggi Paris faux pearl & bugle bead necklace is both.Our almost-sautoir creation (it's just two inches off the 40" minimum length) shimmers and shines with its lustrous, graduated faux pearls and foil-lined golden bugle beads.Our necklace is classic in style, taken up several notches in chic and slinkiness by its unique combination of elements. These are all qualities that the company is known for. Poggi, which started in 1977, is known for "stylish runway" costume jewelry. Its jewelry has also been described as "trendy", with "strong Italian inspiration blended with Russian and French notes". All Poggi pieces are hand-made in its Paris atelier. Our necklace is vintage; we found it at a Dallas estate. Instead of just one size of glossy creamy lucite pearls, our necklace has three — ranging in size from 1/4" round to almost 5/8" round — to spice things up.Instead of just strings, it has golden bugle beads, the better to add lots of shimmer to the presentation.The entire length has segments featuring the different sizes of pearls alternating with bugle beads.The necklace is about 38" long, and a width of almost 5/8" (across the largest pearls). It has a large lobster claw clasp.Marked Poggi Paris on an oval hangtag close to the clasp.In overall good to very good condition. All the faux pearls are lustrous and in wonderful condition. The bugle beads are all intact and shimmery. The gilt portions have their color intact, with a bit of patina. Altogether, what a great presentation!
