Description: A beautiful and colorful creamer/pitcher. It is handmade and just over 4 1/4 inches tall. Bill Wedekind was sent to Vietnam at 18 and soon after was wounded losing his eyes and his hands. Thinking he was dead he was flown back to base in a body bag (I have read different stories on this but this is what he told me). When he was unloaded the bag was moving. Much later after prosthetics didn't work they used the Krukenburg procedure to separate the bones in his arms to allow him to grasp objects. Soon he found his calling in pottery. Now married to his childhood sweetheart and living in Texas. Must be hand-washed. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
