Description: pre-WWI Era US Navy USN Officer's Sword w/Scabbard - Named: T.D. Crump - Original - Excellent Condition Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era US Navy USN Officer's Sword with Scabbard. The blade has a bright finish that has a decorative patriotic image on each side of the blade. The blade is named to: "T.D. Crump" on one side and US Navy on the other side. The sword was made by the Army Navy Cooperative, Philadelphia, markings are on the blade. No nicks or chips in the blade. It has an ell skin handle with the brass wire wrapping. The handle is in excellent condition, one small hole in the wrapping, see photo. The handle has a gold braided sword knot. This Sword has the original scabbard. The scabbard has a leather body with a brass throat, hanger rings and tip. The leather is soft and supple, no cracks or crazing. The sword is used, please see photo's for condition.
