Description: Pre-WWI WKC Argentinian M1909 Artillery Short Sword with Scabbard and Frog. The ricasso is marked "Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co." over "Solingen" and the reverse side is the Argentine crest with "Modelo Argentino 1909". The crossguard is marked "E06564", the reverse side has a sideways "P", the underside of the crossguard has a "C" with "x", and there is an "RA" on the side of the pommel. The spine has an "A" mark. The wood grips have some small nicks/chips/scratches. The blade has been sharpened (very sharp), some light nicks, and has spots of dried oil. The scabbard is solid with no dents/dings, a few freckles of surface rust, under the throat screw it is marked "E06564", the backside below the throat screw is a partial "D" with an "x" inside, the mouth is marked "E" and has a crosshair mark. The green frog is complete and shows little wear. Length of the blade measures 14 3/4" (1" wide x 1/4" thick), the bayonet is 19 7/8", and in the scabbard it is 20 5/8". Frog alone is 9 1/8".
