Fits:2011-2014 Chevy/GMC 2500 3500 Duramax Diesel 6.6L This is the AirDog I FP-150-4G fuel system for the 2011-2014 Chevy/GMC Duramax 6.6L. This diesel lift pump mounts to the frame jig in front of the fuel tank for a clean looking installation. A 1/2" draw straw is uséd to pull fuel from the tank. The supply side is hooked up to the factory fuel line feeding the CP4 injection pump. The return is sent back to the tank through a filler neck tee. AirDog®The Original Fuel Air Separation SystemThe AirDog® Fuel Preporator®, with the capability to provide fuel at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine, receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the water and large particulate contaminates that could damage or jam the gearator fuel pump. The fuel, with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. AirDog® BenefitsThe AirDog® Fuel Preporator® removes various contaminates, including entrained air/vapor, particulates and moisture, and removes excess fuel not needed by engines, allowing the fuel to flow through the regulator and return to the fuel tank. The separated air/vapor enters the return port after the regulator, allowing pure fuel to flow to the engine at a regulated positive pressure. A gerotor pump offers quiet, long lasting performance.
