Manufacturer: Quickboost Title: Hurricane Mk.I/Mk.II Undercarriage Covers Hasegawa kit Ref: QB 72 203 Scale: 1/72 Description: The set contains beautifully cast resin undercarriage doors for either a Hawker Hurricane Mk.I or Hurricane Mk.II aircraft, designed for the 1/72 Hasegawa kit but would fit other 1/72 Hurricane kits with care. For those not familiar with resin aftermarket parts, they are almost invariably packaged and sold with the parts attached to their casting block - see image (in layman’s terms, a large sprue gate) which will need to be carefully removed. Resin aftermarket parts normally offer far better detail and are more often than not a more accurate representation of the kit part they are to replace. This set is a great introduction to resin parts as they are a straight swap for the original kit item, albeit some careful surgery will be required to remove the kit items before inserting the resin version. Multiple purchases of decal sheets i.e. three sheets and above or larger A4 sized sets are sent via Royal Mail Air Mail as large letters. These do require a customs label when being sent to the EU. However, I stipulate that the contents are PRINTED PAPER, given decals are printed onto decal paper, which, as far as I am aware is still zero rated for VAT in all EU countries. As such you again should NOT be charged any local VAT or import duties.
